Cape Cares
Cape Cares runs week long medical and dental missions to three locations in Honduras. In February, 2011 Dr. Loren Wilson of Cambridge, MA will be co-leading a dental mission to Honduras. He would love to have a dental hygienist and a dental assistant or 2 come along. Other opportunities are also available.

Bridge Over Troubled Waters
Volunteers are the heart of Bridge services. One-time and long-term volunteer opportunities are available.

Connecticut Mission of Mercy
Thousands of Connecticut residents have difficulty accessing dental care, for the same reasons faced by others in less affluent states. For this reason, the Connecticut Foundation for Dental Outreach (CFDO) in collaboration with the Connecticut State Dental Association (CSDA) embarked upon its first Mission of Mercy project, in April, 2008. There is no answer for the provision of dental care for adults on the horizon. For this reason alone a MOM project will provide care to those who have no hope of receiving care through our present health care system. The numbers of adults and children are staggering and it is the hope of the Connecticut Dental Association to help those in need of oral health care.

Project Stretch
Project Stretch is a private, voluntary, non-profit corporation supported by fundraising events as well as contributions from private citizens and corporations. Dentists, dental students, dental assistants and dental hygenists and other volunteers donate their time and talent to provide dental services that have brightened children's smiles around the world.<

The Donated Dental Services (DDS) program is a collaborative, direct way that the dental profession reaches out to individuals with special needs.
